Mr. Palton,
Your e-mail has been forwarded to me for response. I'm sorry for not replying sooner.
PS231K's primary site at 5601 16th Avenue received five on-street placards.
With regard to your secondary sites, the seven spaces that you referenced at 39 Adelphi Street do not appear in the Department of Transportation's inventory of authorized parking spaces. However, I Google Mapped the location and saw that Department of Education signs are in place and the spaces do appear to exist. I have asked DOT to investigate and attached a copy of the request for your records.
As you stated, PS 215 at 415 Avenue S does not have any parking capacity adjacent to the school. Without the appropriate signs, DOT cannot issue placards.
Finally, according to a survey performed by the Division of School Facilities PS 238 does have off-street aprking capacity. Because the off-street placards have already been sent to PS 238, would it be possible for your principal to ask PS 238 for a share of these spaces? Let me know your thoughts.
I look forward to your response.

Dear Mr. Stamm,
Thank you so much for getting to me. As you can imagine, this is an issue that has caused both confusion and inconvenience, especially in schools with multiple sites.. At this time, the principal at PS 238 has distributed the placards exclusively to her staff. However, I will forward this e-mail to my principal about the possibility. I think it would be most appropriate to investigate the possibility in creating on-street parking for this school and issuing permits for our staff that is housed there because of this. In the future, I think it would make more sense if principals were directed to include ALL staff housed in their respective buildings. Hope to hear from you soon.
