Technology Invades 231

In the spring of last year, we received word that we had been approved for a technology grant in excess of $300,000. This happened because of the hard work of one of members- Robert Prince. As humble as he is, this is a BIG deal and he should be recognized.
Bob wrote the grant and Janet (Schlesinger) did the public relations piece. Grant writing is no small task. Thanks to the generosity of Simcha Felder, council member for District 44, some of our classrooms will be receiving special computers and SMART boards, better enabling us to actively engage our students. In addition, we will see a new computer lab, as well as laptop carts. We may see these things as earlier as spring.
Thank you Bob for your hard work in seeing this project through.
